Notes:
This calculator uses the inputted 1 Rep Max to calculate your estimated max weight for a given target number of reps you intend to perform. Pick any rep count ranging between 2-30 reps.
The calculator also has the ability to round up, down, or to the nearest increment selected ranging from 1, 1.25, 2.5, 5, & 10. This let you select an increment that is easier for you to load onto a weight bar depending on what weights you have available to you.
This calculator is useful for some training programs that reptation to failure also known as a Rep Max(RM).
This is a form of progressive overload training and can be very effective if done in a well thought out structured training program.
By establish where overload may be achieved you can select a ideal weight for the targeted rep range desired for training.
