INTRODUCTION:
Welcome to 1-rep-max.com! My name is Adam, and I’m a former nationally ranked power lifter. My journey into powerlifting began in high school and continued through college, where I competed in numerous meets across the country and even set some national records as a junior (Under 21) lifter. Throughout my years of training, I’ve extensively used various 1-rep max calculators and learned that not all calculators are created equal.
Some of the issues I ran into were bad estimates, sites trying to collect personal my personal data, and sites so bloated with ads they were unusable. I wanted to fix this!
