NOTES:

This calculator uses your 1 Rep Max to calculate the different percentages of your max lift. This is a common method of establishing training weights in many training programs.

This tool is intended to help speed up updating your weights in structured training programs that are programed around various percent targets of 1RM for working sets.

The calculator also has the ability to round up, down, or to the nearest increment selected ranging from 1, 1.25, 2.5, 5, & 10. This is to let you select a weight that is easy to load onto the bar depending on what weight plates you have available to you.

This is useful for some training programs and to establish where overload may be achieved.

It’s also a quick way to bump up your training weights up or down a bit if that’s what your specific training program is calling for.
